The Muktinath is a sacred pilgrimage site in Nepal, known for its Hindu and Buddhist significance. It’s located at the base of the Thorong La mountain pass in the Mustang district. The temple at Muktinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in Hinduism and is one of the 108 Divya Desams, revered by Vaishnavites. The site also holds importance for Buddhists as one of the 24 Tantric places.
Pilgrims visit Muktinath seeking spiritual blessings, and the journey often includes a trek through the stunning landscapes of the Annapurna region. The temple itself has 108 water spouts, where freezing water from the Gandaki River meets continuously burning natural gas, creating a unique phenomenon. This sacred site attracts devotees from various parts of the world.
Day 1:Upon arriving at Kathmandu International Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by our airport manager, followed by a seamless transfer to the hotel. After a refreshing welcome drink in the lobby, guests can check into their rooms. If time allows, an optional visit to Pashupatinath Temple for Aarati will be arranged, providing a cultural experience. The evening concludes with a delightful dinner, and guests can rest comfortably for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara covering a distance of 200 kilometers. En route, indulge in a visit to the Manakamana Devi Temple, where guests can experience a divine Darshan facilitated by a cable car ride. Lunch will be served at a nearby hotel or along the highway, offering a convenient stop. Arriving in Pokhara by evening, guests will check into their respective hotels. The day concludes with a delightful dinner, providing a relaxing overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 3: After an early breakfast, fly from Pokhara to Jomsom for a quick and scenic 20-minute flight. Upon arrival, take a jeep to Muktinath Temple, where a short walk leads to the sacred site. Enjoy a holy bath, perform pooja, and have lunch near the temple. Return to Jomsom by jeep, allowing for leisure time, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4:Start the day with breakfast, walk to Jomsom airport, fly to Pokhara, and transfer to the hotel. Refresh, then explore Pokhara with visits to Bindavashini Temple, Waterfall, Mahadev Cave, and a boat ride on Phewa Lake. Enjoy lunch, leisure time for shopping or rest, and conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5:Following breakfast, embark on a 200-kilometer drive back to Kathmandu, reaching the city by late afternoon. Upon arrival, visit Swayambhunath Stupa and Jal Narayan. After the sightseeing, check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Enjoy breakfast and proceed with a day of sightseeing, exploring Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Doleshwor. Conclude the day with an overnight stay.
Day 7: After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure. Safe travels!
Cost Cover
The package includes a 6-night stay with MAP Plan in deluxe accommodations - 3 nights in Kathmandu, 2 nights in Pokhara, and 1 night in Jomsom. Arrival, departure, and local sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara will be facilitated by deluxe coach transportation. The journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara and back will also be via deluxe coach. The package covers ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) permits, air tickets for the Pokhara to Jomsom to Pokhara flight, including taxes, and airport transfers. Additionally, it includes government taxes and necessary assistance throughout the trip. The Manakamana Devi Temple cable car tickets and all entrance fees for the specified sightseeing locations are also part of the package.
